My kitchen has enough room for a 2 seated table. I am interested in getting new cabinets above the stove and below the sink. Just getting advice.

there is really no average cost. It depends on how many cabinets you order, the quality of the cabinets, how much of the work you do and how much you hire someone else to do. One idea is to check with the kitchen design showrooms or lumber yards in your area to see if they have discontinued displays they are getting rid of…these can be a pretty good deal. Be sure to double check your measurements and maybe bring digital pics of what you have and show someone who knows what they are doing. Good luck!

depending on the cabinet line and the upgrades anywhere from 5-20K. Be wary of cheap cabinet lines or value ones, because once you get certain things like plywood ends that are exposed upgraded you could be right up there with the next best cabinet line. I say 20K is on the very high side 8K is quite fair. be wary of post form laminate tops and go for something solid surface like corian or himacs by LG or even a nice wilsonart laminate. silestone and cambria will bust the budget all together but will last you a lifetime if you pick the right color. Just for a couple cabinets as described, I would say no more than 2K
