I like the Rubbermaid stuff that has a waffle look weave. You cut it to fit, lay in in your cabinets and drawers with gluing down. You can take it out any time you think it needs clean and wash them. I wash mine by hand in the kitchen sink and hang to dry. It you only do a cabinet or two at a time it’s no big chore.
Most new cabinets are made of prefinished vinyl covered particle board. No need to line the shelves. Just wipe with a damp rag with a mild bleach solution.
Years ago when cabinets had raw wood or painted interiors, you lined the shelves to make them washable. Not necessary nowdays.
I use rubbery mesh sheets, you can cut them down to fit, they normally come in a roll, I don’t know what they are called, I only use them in drawers so that stuff doesn’t slip and slide and scratch the inside of the drawers. You can buy from Wilkinsons I think and other places like Woolworths, Homebase, B&Q etc. It comes in white & grey, and has holes in it, I have a square of it on my dashboard in my car, my sunglasses stay put when going round corners etc. I don’t put anything in the cupboards but if I did I might use just normal A4 paper to give a bit of protection and then they can be replaced easily.
you can use the same thing that you line a big tool box with… the ones with many drawers go to the hardware store…. this way you can take them out and not ruin anything
get something that always air under things theres some professional stuf like returants have? (don’t use shelf paper as it will develope mold)
Shelf paper, it comes in many colors & designs…
floor vinyl or lino offcuts (new offcuts)
I never really understand the lining thing. I just wash them now and then.
