How Do I Bid, Staining New Kitchen Cabinets?

I am staining and polyurethene kitchen cabinets how do i go about pricing this project? they are new cabinets.

Sounds like you are wanting frames and doors done, so your kitchen will be a mess for a while. If the cabinets are unfinished now, and you have considered doing-it-yourself, use gel stains, they cover more even and are easier to use. Some products stain and seal in one step. Good luck.
2 nicket July 9, 2009 at 1:14 pm: That depends on the amount of cabinets you have to finish, how many coats of stain and urethane you are using, if you are using a polyshades or other stain and urethane in one, if you plan on bidding by the hour or by the job, and where in the country you are located.
If you plan to go by the hour, typically this service pays 50 to 90 dollars an hour. If you plan on charging by the job, you would probably be looking at 1 to 3 dollars per linear foot. like I mentioned before, however, it really depends on what the service pays in the area you live in.
